Community Guidelines

Effective date: July 29, 2026

Street Teams connects local businesses with local creators. That only works if the platform stays honest, safe, and respectful. These Community Guidelines apply to everything you do on the Services — profiles, campaign briefs, messages, offers, and submitted content — and are part of our Terms of Service.

1. Be authentic

  • Use your real identity or the creator identity you actually operate. No impersonation of people, brands, or businesses.
  • Do not misrepresent your audience — no purchased followers, botted views, engagement pods, or inflated metrics.
  • Businesses must accurately represent their business, offers, and products.

2. Disclose paid partnerships

Campaign content is advertising. Creators must clearly and conspicuously disclose the paid relationship in every piece of campaign content — #ad, "paid partnership," or the platform's branded-content tool — as required by the FTC Endorsement Guides. Businesses may never ask a creator to skip or bury a disclosure. Endorsements must reflect the creator's honest opinion and actual experience.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not post, submit, or send:

  • Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity;
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech targeting any person or group;
  • Sexually explicit content or the sexualization of minors (zero tolerance — reported to authorities);
  • Graphic violence or content glorifying self-harm;
  • Deceptive claims — false advertising, fake reviews, undisclosed AI-fabricated endorsements, or health/financial claims you cannot substantiate;
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights (see our DMCA policy);
  • Other people's private information (doxxing);
  • Spam, scams, pyramid schemes, malware, or phishing;
  • Campaigns for prohibited categories: illegal drugs, weapons, adult services, gambling where unlawful, counterfeit goods, or products illegal to market to any audience the campaign targets.

Campaign content published to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or any other platform must also follow that platform's own rules and branded-content policies.

4. Respect the marketplace

  • Honor your commitments — accepted collaborations, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Keep negotiations honest; no bait-and-switch on scope or compensation.
  • Do not take matched collaborations off-platform to avoid fees or protections.
  • Communicate professionally. Disagreement is fine; abuse is not.

5. Reporting and blocking

Every profile, campaign, message thread, and piece of submitted content can be reported in-app or from the dashboard, and you can block any user to stop them from contacting you. You can also report anything by emailing support@streetteams.com. We review reports of objectionable content promptly — our target is within 24 hours — and remove content and eject offending users where warranted.

6. Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, issue warnings, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts permanently — with or without notice. Fraud, safety threats, and child-safety violations result in immediate termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. We may withhold pending payouts connected to fraudulent or violating activity as described in the Refund & Payment Policy.

7. Appeals

If you believe we made a mistake, reply to the enforcement notice or email support@streetteams.com within 30 days with the details. A human will review your appeal.
