Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 29, 2026
StreetTeams ("Street Teams," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Internet Division LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use streetteams.com, our web dashboards, our mobile app, and related services (together, the "Services"). It also explains the choices and rights you have.
By using the Services you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Internet Division LLC is the data controller of your personal information.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — name or creator handle, email address, password or passkey credentials, role (creator or business), city, and profile details.
- Creator profile information — social media handles, a description of your channel and content, portfolio material, and payout details (collected and processed by Stripe — see Section 5).
- Business information — business name, location, billing contact, and payment method details (collected and processed by Stripe).
- Content and communications — campaign briefs, offers, messages, submitted content, support requests, and anything else you send through the Services.
Information from connected social platforms
Creators may connect social accounts (such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube). With your authorization we receive limited information from those platforms, such as your handle, public profile information, follower or subscriber counts, and engagement metrics for content connected to campaigns. We use this to verify your account, evaluate waitlist eligibility, match you with local businesses, and report campaign performance. You can disconnect a platform at any time from your account settings or by revoking access in that platform's settings.
Our use of information received from Google APIs (including YouTube API Services) adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Where we use YouTube API Services, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies. You can revoke our access to your Google data at any time via the Google security settings page. Our use of data received from Meta platforms complies with the Meta Platform Terms, and our use of data received from TikTok complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device information — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies — we use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and security, and limited functional/analytics cookies to understand how the Services are used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
- Approximate location — the city you provide or an approximate location derived from your IP address, used to match creators with local businesses. We do not collect precise GPS location.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and secure the Services;
- Create and manage accounts, including the creator waitlist and approval process;
- Match creators with local businesses and operate campaigns and collaborations;
- Process payments, credits, and creator payouts (through Stripe);
- Send transactional messages (receipts, offers, approvals, security notices);
- Send marketing emails where permitted — every marketing email includes our physical postal address and a working unsubscribe link, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages;
- Respond to support requests;
- Monitor, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
- Analyze and improve the Services.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on these legal bases: performance of a contract (operating your account, campaigns, and payouts), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service analytics, and improving the Services), consent (connecting social accounts, marketing emails — withdrawable at any time), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, and lawful requests).
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only:
- Between users as part of the marketplace — businesses see creator profiles and submitted content; creators see business and campaign details. This is the core of the Services.
- With service providers that process data on our behalf under contract — payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting and infrastructure, database hosting, email delivery, and analytics. They may use the data only to provide services to us.
- With connected platforms at your direction (for example, when you link a social account or publish campaign content).
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights, safety, and property of Street Teams, our users, or the public, or enforce our agreements.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Payments
Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers or bank account credentials; that information goes directly to Stripe. Stripe processes it under its own privacy policy. Creator payouts use Stripe Connect, which may require identity verification information collected by Stripe.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After account deletion we delete or de-identify personal information within 30 days, except records we must retain for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes (for example, transaction and payout ledgers), which we keep only as long as required. See our Data & Account Deletion page for how to delete your account.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level database security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
8. Your rights
All users
You can access and update most account information in your account settings, unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any marketing message, and request deletion of your account (see Data & Account Deletion). You may also contact us at support@streetteams.com to exercise any right described below.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California law gives you the right to:
- Know/access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, purposes, and third parties with whom it was shared;
- Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have no actual knowledge of doing so for consumers under 16;
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — we use sensitive personal information only as permitted for providing the Services; and
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
In the preceding 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, handles, IP address); commercial information (credits, purchases, payouts); internet activity (usage data); approximate geolocation (city); professional information (channel and business details); and inferences (creator–business matching). We collect them from you, your devices, connected platforms, and our payment processor, for the purposes in Section 3, and disclose them as described in Section 4.
To exercise these rights, email support@streetteams.com or call 213-545-6969. We will verify your request using information associated with your account. You may use an authorized agent; we will require proof of the agent's authority and may still verify your identity directly.
EEA, UK, and Swiss residents (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). We store data in the United States; where we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, but we would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first at support@streetteams.com.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard, the Services do not currently respond to DNT signals. We treat browser-based opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing — which we do not engage in anyway.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and users must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice in the Services before the changes take effect. The "Effective date" above shows when this Policy was last revised.
